Subscription Policy

This Subscription Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms that apply to all recurring product subscriptions ("Subscriptions") purchased through shopelumia.com (the "Site"). This Policy is offered by Elumia ("Elumia," "we," "us," or "our") and forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Legal Notice. By enrolling in any Subscription, you agree to this Policy. Where any conflict exists, the terms more protective of Elumia control.
PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE ENROLLING. SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AND CHARGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD UNTIL YOU CANCEL.
1. What a Subscription Is
A Subscription is a recurring purchase arrangement under which:
- You authorize Elumia to automatically charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis;
- We automatically ship the subscribed product to you at the interval you selected (for example, every 30, 45, 60, or 90 days);
- The Subscription continues until you cancel it in accordance with this Policy.
By enrolling in a Subscription, you expressly consent to and authorize all recurring charges described in this Policy and acknowledge that you have read and understood how the Subscription works.
2. Renewal Pricing — Read This Carefully
Any promotional, introductory, first-time, discounted, or bundle pricing applies to the first Subscription order only.
All subsequent recurring Subscription orders will renew at the standard full retail price of a single unit (quantity: 1) of the subscribed product, regardless of the discount, promotion, bundle, multi-pack, or quantity received on the initial order.
For example:
- If you initially purchased a 3-pack bundle at a promotional price, your renewal will ship and bill at the standard full retail price for one (1) unit, not three.
- If you initially purchased a single unit at an introductory or first-order discount, your renewal will ship and bill at the standard full retail price for one (1) unit.
- If a bundle pricing offer was a one-time promotional bundle, future Subscription renewals will not repeat that bundle.
The standard renewal price is the retail price of one (1) unit as published on the Site at the time of renewal. Prices may change over time; we will use the price in effect on the renewal date.
By enrolling in a Subscription, you expressly acknowledge and accept these renewal terms.
3. Renewal Frequency
You select your Subscription renewal frequency at checkout. We will charge your payment method and ship the next order on or about the renewal date that corresponds to your chosen frequency.
- Renewal dates are approximate and may vary by a few business days based on processing windows, weekends, and U.S. federal holidays.
- We may attempt to charge your payment method one or more business days before the shipping date to allow for processing.
- We may, with reasonable notice (including by email), adjust frequencies offered, billing schedules, or operational windows.
4. Authorization to Charge
When you enroll in a Subscription, you affirmatively authorize Elumia and our payment processors to:
- Charge the payment method on file for the recurring price, shipping, and any applicable taxes for each renewal;
- Continue charging until you cancel the Subscription;
- Securely store and update payment-method information as needed (for example, when your card issuer provides an updated card number or expiration through an account-updater service);
- Retry a failed charge using the same or an updated payment method;
- Use the same payment method to charge for any associated fees (including the Subscription refund processing fee described below).
You represent and warrant that you are the authorized user of the payment method and that the payment information you provide is accurate.
5. Failed Payments
If a renewal charge is declined or otherwise fails:
- We may automatically retry the charge one or more times over a reasonable period;
- We may pause or suspend your Subscription (and any scheduled shipment) until payment is successfully collected;
- We may contact you to update your payment method;
- We reserve the right to cancel your Subscription if payment remains unresolved.
You remain responsible for any amounts authorized but not collected.
6. Managing, Pausing & Modifying Your Subscription
You may manage your Subscription by:
- Logging into your customer account on shopelumia.com (where available); or
- Emailing support@shopelumia.com with your order details.
Subject to operational lead times, you may request to:
- Update your shipping address;
- Update your payment method;
- Change your renewal frequency;
- Skip an upcoming shipment;
- Pause the Subscription;
- Swap to an alternative product where available.
All modifications must be made before the next renewal order has been fulfilled (processed, packed, or shipped). Modifications submitted close to or after the renewal date may not be honored for that cycle and will apply from the following cycle.
7. Cancellation
7.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your Subscription at any time, for any reason, by contacting us at support@shopelumia.com or, where available, through your customer account on the Site. Please include your order number and the email address used to enroll.
7.2 Cancellation Timing
- Before fulfillment of the next renewal: You may cancel the upcoming order and end your Subscription with no further charges.
- After fulfillment of the next renewal: Once a Subscription order has been processed, packed, or shipped, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. You must follow the Return process in our Return & Refund Policy, and the 15% restocking fee and 3.5% Subscription processing fee will apply.
Cancellation requests are time-sensitive. Because we aim to fulfill renewal orders within 24–72 hours of the renewal date, please submit cancellation requests with a reasonable lead time. We cannot guarantee that requests submitted on or near the renewal date will prevent the upcoming order.
7.3 Effect of Cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewals only. It does not entitle you to a refund of any already-fulfilled order, any past renewal, or any partial period.
8. Subscription Refund Processing Fee
In addition to any applicable restocking fee under our Return & Refund Policy, all Subscription refunds are subject to a 3.5% payment processing fee, deducted from the refund amount. This fee covers non-recoverable payment processor and gateway costs and applies to any Subscription order that is refunded for any reason after fulfillment.
9. Returns of Subscription Orders
Once a Subscription order has been fulfilled, the order is governed by our Return & Refund Policy, including:
- The 30-day RMA request window from delivery;
- The requirement to contact support and obtain pre-authorization;
- Customer responsibility for return shipping;
- The 15% restocking fee; and
- The 3.5% Subscription processing fee referenced above.
We recommend that subscribers review each shipment promptly upon delivery so that any return request can be initiated within the applicable window.
10. Promotional Eligibility — One-Per-Customer
Subscription discounts, introductory pricing, and bundle promotions are limited to one (1) use per customer, household, shipping address, payment method, and/or email address (whichever is most restrictive), unless expressly stated otherwise. Attempts to obtain a first-order or promotional Subscription discount more than once — including by creating multiple accounts, using multiple emails or payment methods, or cancelling and re-enrolling — may result in the discount being voided, the Subscription being cancelled, the order being refused, and/or future orders being declined.
11. Product Changes & Discontinuation
We reserve the right to:
- Update the formulation, packaging, label, or appearance of any subscribed product;
- Discontinue a product or replace it with a substantially equivalent successor;
- Pause, suspend, or terminate the Subscription program in whole or in part at any time.
Where a subscribed product is discontinued without a successor, we will cancel the affected Subscription and notify you. Where a successor product is offered, we may, at our option, transition your Subscription to the successor product or cancel and offer you the opportunity to re-enroll.
12. Pricing Changes
We may change the standard retail price of a subscribed product at any time. The price applicable to a renewal is the price in effect on the renewal date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example, by email) of a material price change before it takes effect.
By continuing your Subscription after a price change takes effect, you accept the new price. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your Subscription in accordance with this Policy before the next renewal.
13. Subscription Communications
By enrolling in a Subscription, you consent to receive emails related to the Subscription, including (without limitation) order confirmations, renewal reminders, shipping notifications, payment notices, price-change notices, product updates, and customer-service communications. These are transactional in nature and are sent to all subscribers regardless of marketing preferences. You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails at any time without affecting Subscription-related transactional emails.
14. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to enroll in a Subscription. You must provide accurate enrollment, billing, and shipping information. You must use a payment method you are authorized to use.
Subscriptions are intended for personal, household consumer use only and are not transferable or resellable. We reserve the right to cancel any Subscription we believe to be in violation of these terms, fraudulent, abusive, or used for commercial resale.
15. Geographic Availability
Subscriptions are available primarily to customers in the United States and our designated secondary markets (United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand). Availability in other countries is at our discretion and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Subscriptions are not available in jurisdictions where they are prohibited by law.
16. Suspension or Termination by Elumia
We reserve the right to suspend, cancel, or refuse to renew any Subscription at our sole discretion and at any time, including (without limitation) for:
- Failure of payment;
- Suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service;
- Repeated returns, refunds, or refused deliveries;
- Pricing or product discontinuation;
- Discontinuation of the Subscription program;
- Any reason permitted by law.
17. Limitation of Liability
The limitation of liability and indemnification provisions of our Terms of Service are incorporated by reference into this Policy and apply with full force to all Subscriptions.
In particular and without limitation, Elumia's total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to any Subscription shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you actually paid to Elumia for the specific Subscription order giving rise to the claim, or (ii) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100.00). Elumia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, however caused.
18. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to a Subscription is governed by, and shall be resolved exclusively in accordance with, the binding arbitration and class action waiver provisions of our Terms of Service, which are incorporated by reference. You expressly waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class, collective, mass, or representative action.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Subscription Policy at any time at our sole discretion. The version posted on the Site with the most recent "Last Updated" date is the version in effect. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email) of material changes. Your continued Subscription after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel your Subscription in accordance with this Policy.
